Overall Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a Payment Optimization Specialist to join the performance team within the payment department. The successful candidate will be part of a team of analysts involved in the optimization of 50 worldwide payment methods, the primary objectives are to improve approval rates, reduce cost and control fraud. The team is responsible for identifying, reporting and alerting anomalies in an exceptionally fast paced and volatile sector of the Poker industry.

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

• Support, maintain and control large scale Payments Control Systems.
• Provide expertise and insight into the workings of Payment Methods including Credit Cards, eWallets, ACH, Check21 etc..
• Analyse customer behaviour and identify patterns to increase potential revenue and reduce fraud.
• Assist in the development and provision of an effective reporting environment within the Payments Department
• Produce complex business logic to improve customer experience and maximising revenue.

 

Skills/Experience Required:

• 5+ years in a similar role with proven results in the optimization of payment processing and fraud control.
• 3+ years working directly with Payment Methods that must include ACH, Credit Card and eWallets
• Strong aptitude in Data Analysis, Data Modelling and the online payments/gaming industry
• Expert knowledge of SQL and Business Objects or MS Excel a definite requirement.
• Knowledge of KPI generation an advantage.
• Must be a fast learner, be able to hit the ground running and must have a passion for hard work
• Ability to cope with a dynamic and rapidly changing business landscape
• A background in online gaming a distinct advantage.
